There are very few maintenance emergencies. If your home is on fire, please evacuate immediately and call 911. If your home is flooding due to a plumbing leak, please attempt to stop the leak by turning off the main water supply, then call the emergency contact for your water utility company. If your home has received extensive damage due to a storm such as basement flooding or extensive roof damage, please assess the safety of the home and report the damage to Trevor at (816) 263-2445 at the earliest appropriate time.

When was the last time your furnace filter was changed? If it has been more than 3 months, replace with a new filter.
Please plunge the toilet. This may take several tries to unclog. If your toilet is overflowing, please turn off the water by turning the valve at the base of the toilet.
Drains are frequently clogged from mis-use. If your clog has resulted from mis-use, you will be charged for drain backups. In rare cases, roots can cause sewer lines to back up, but this is not very common. We often find that baby wipes, diapers, paper towels, Q-tips, or even toys have been flushed down the toilet or placed in the drain. If we find this has happened, you will be charged for the plumbing bill. Consider calling a professional plumber to take care of this issue if you believe it has resulted from mis-use.
